A PERSONALIDADE ANTI-SOCIAL

Há certas características e atitudes mentais que fazem com que cerca de 20 por cento de uma raça se oponha violentamente a qualquer actividade ou grupo de melhoramento.

É sabido que tais pessoas têm tendências anti-sociais.

Quando a estrutura legal ou política de um país se torna tal que favorece a colocação de tais personalidades em posições de confiança, então todas as organizações civilizadoras do país são suprimidas e segue-se um barbarismo de criminalidade e coacção económica.

As Personalidades Anti-Sociais perpetram crimes e actos criminosos. Os internados e reclusos das instituições geralmente rastreiam a causa do seu estado ao contacto com tais personalidades.

Assim, nas áreas do governo, das actividades policiais e da saúde mental, para mencionar apenas algumas, vemos que é importante ser capaz de detectar e isolar este tipo de personalidade, de maneira a proteger a sociedade e os indivíduos das consequências destrutivas que resultam de permitir que tais pessoas tenham as rédeas soltas para lesar os outros.

Como elas constituem apenas 20 por cento da população e só 2,5 por cento destes 20 por cento são mesmo perigosas, vemos que com apenas um pequeno esforço, nós poderíamos melhorar consideravelmente o estado da sociedade.

Exemplos bastante conhecidos, mesmo excepcionais, deste tipo de personalidade são, naturalmente, Napoleão e Hitler. Dillinger, Pretty Boy Floyd, Christie e outros criminosos famosos foram exemplos bem conhecidos da Personalidade Anti-Social. Mas com um tal elenco de personagens na História, nós descuramos os exemplos menos excepcionais e não nos apercebemos de que essas personalidades existem na vida corrente, sendo muito comuns, muitas vezes passando despercebidas.

Quando rastreamos a causa do fracasso de um negócio, vamos inevitavelmente descobrir, algures nas suas fileiras, a Personalidade Anti-Social a trabalhar arduamente.

Em famílias que estão a desfazer-se, é comum verificar que uma ou outra das pessoas envolvidas possui uma tal personalidade.

Quando a vida está a tornar-se difícil e a falhar, uma análise cuidadosa da área, por um observador treinado, detectará a acção de uma ou mais dessas personalidades.

Como 80 por cento de nós estão a tentar progredir e só 20 por cento estão a tentar impedir-nos, as nossas vidas seriam muito mais fáceis de viver se estivéssemos todos bem informados acerca das manifestações exactas de tal personalidade. Assim poderíamos detectá-la e pouparmo-nos a muitos fracassos e sofrimento.

É importante, então, examinar e listar os atributos da Personalidade Anti-Social. Como isto influencia as vidas diárias de tantos, compete às pessoas decentes informarem-se melhor a respeito deste assunto.

Atributos

A Personalidade Anti-Social tem os seguintes atributos:

1. Ele ou ela só fala em termos de generalidades muito amplas. «Eles dizem. . .», «Toda a gente pensa. . .», «Toda a gente sabe. . .» e outras expressões semelhantes são as que usa continuamente, particularmente ao transmitir boatos. Quando se lhe pergunta «Quem é toda a gente…» normalmente verifica-se que se trata de uma única fonte e que, a partir desta fonte, a Pessoa Anti-Social fabricou o que ela pretende que seja toda a opinião de toda a sociedade.

Isto para ela é natural, uma vez que para ela toda a sociedade é uma grande generalidade hostil, especialmente contra o Anti-Social.

2. Tal pessoa lida principalmente com más notícias, observações críticas ou hostis, invalidação e supressão geral.

«Bisbilhoteiro» ou «portador de más notícias» ou «boateiro» são termos conhecidos para descrever essas pessoas.

É notável que uma pessoa destas não transmite boas notícias nem comentários favoráveis.

3. A Personalidade Anti-Social altera a comunicação, para pior, quando transmite uma mensagem ou notícia. As boas notícias são paradas e apenas as más, muitas vezes floreadas, são transmitidas.

Uma tal pessoa também finge passar «más notícias» que na realidade são inventadas.

4. Uma característica, e uma das coisas tristes no que respeita à personalidade anti-social, é que ela não reage a tratamento ou reforma.

5. Em redor dessa personalidade encontramos companheiros ou amigos intimidados ou doentes que, se não foram de facto enlouquecidos, estão no entanto a comportar-se de uma forma deficiente na vida, a falhar, sem ter êxito.

Tais pessoas causam dificuldades a outros.

Quando tratada ou educada, a pessoa associada de perto a uma Personalidade Anti-Social, estando sob a influência supressiva da mesma, não tem qualquer estabilidade nos ganhos e rapidamente recai ou perde os benefícios do conhecimento.

Quando submetidas a tratamento físico, as pessoas com tais associações normalmente não recuperam dentro do período de tempo esperado, mas pioram e têm convalescenças difíceis.

É completamente inútil tratar, ajudar ou treinar essas pessoas enquanto elas permanecerem sob a influência da ligação anti-social.

A maior parte dos insanos são insanos devido a estas ligações com pessoas anti-sociais e não recuperam facilmente pela mesma razão.

Injustamente, nós raramente encontramos a Personalidade Anti-Social de facto numa instituição. São só os seus «amigos» e família que lá estão.

6. A Personalidade Anti-Social habitualmente selecciona o alvo errado.

Se o pneu está vazio porque passou por cima de pregos, ele ou ela amaldiçoa um companheiro ou algo que não causou a dificuldade. Se o rádio do vizinho está muito alto, ele ou ela dá um pontapé no gato.

Se A é a causa óbvia, a Personalidade Anti-Social culpa inevitavelmente B ou C ou D.

7. O Anti-Social não é capaz de acabar um ciclo-de-acção. Qualquer acção tem uma sequência na qual a acção é começada, continuada durante o tempo que for necessário e terminada como planeado. Em Scientology chama-se a isto ciclo de acção.

Ele está rodeado de projectos inacabados.

8. Muitas Pessoas Anti-Sociais confessarão abertamente os crimes mais alarmantes quando forçadas a fazê-lo, mas não terão o mínimo sentido de responsabilidade por estes.

As suas acções pouco ou nada têm a ver com a sua volição. As coisas «simplesmente aconteceram».

Elas não têm qualquer sentido de causação correcta e, portanto, não podem sentir particularmente qualquer remorso ou vergonha.

9. A Personalidade Anti-Social apoia apenas grupos destrutivos e enfurece-se com e ataca qualquer grupo construtivo ou de melhoramento.

10. Este tipo de personalidade só aprova acções destrutivas e luta contra as acções ou actividades construtivas ou de ajuda.

Verifica-se frequentemente que o artista, em particular, é um íman para pessoas com personalidades anti-sociais, que vêem na sua arte algo que tem de ser destruído e encobertamente, «como amigos», tentam destruí-la.

11. Ajudar os outros é uma actividade que deixa a Personalidade Anti-Social quase louca de fúria. Contudo, actividades que destroem em nome da ajuda são apoiadas de perto.

12. A Personalidade Anti-Social tem um mau sentido de propriedade e concebe que a ideia de que alguém possui alguma coisa é uma falsidade inventada para enganar as pessoas. As coisas nunca têm realmente dono.

A Razão Básica

A razão básica do comportamento da Personalidade Anti-Social reside num terror oculto dos outros.

Para uma tal pessoa, todos os outros seres são um inimigo, um inimigo a destruir aberta ou encobertamente.

A fixação consiste em que a própria sobrevivência depende de «manter os outros em baixo» ou de «manter as pessoas ignorantes».

Se alguém prometer tornar os outros mais fortes ou mais espertos, a Personalidade Anti-Social sofre a agonia mais extrema de perigo pessoal.

Ela pensa que se já tem tantas dificuldades com pessoas fracas e estúpidas à sua volta, ela pereceria se alguma delas se tornasse forte ou esperta.

Tal pessoa tem terror de confiar em alguém. Isto é usualmente disfarçado e não revelado.

Quando uma tal personalidade fica insana, o mundo está cheio de marcianos ou de agentes do FBI e cada pessoa que encontra é, de facto, um marciano ou um agente do FBI.

Mas a maior parte destas pessoas não apresenta sinais exteriores de insanidade. Elas parecem ser muito racionais. Elas podem ser muito convincentes.

Contudo, a lista dada acima é constituída por coisas que esta personalidade não pode detectar em si própria. Isto é tão verdade que se você pensou que tinha uma delas, você não é com certeza anti-social. A autocrítica é um luxo que o Anti-Social não se pode permitir. Eles têm de estar certos, porque na sua opinião eles estão num perigo contínuo. Se você demonstrasse a um deles que ele está errado, é possível que o lançasse numa doença severa.

Só a pessoa sã e bem equilibrada é que tenta corrigir a sua conduta.

Alívio

Se eliminasse do seu passado, as Pessoas Anti-Sociais que conheceu e depois se desconectasse, você poderia experimentar um grande alívio.

De maneira semelhante, se a sociedade reconhecesse este tipo de personalidade como um ser doente e o isolasse, como hoje em dia se isolam as pessoas com varíola, poderiam ocorrer recuperações tanto sociais como económicas.

Não é provável que as coisas melhorem enquanto se permitir que 20 por cento da população domine e prejudique as vidas e empreendimentos dos restantes 80 por cento.

Tal como o governo da maioria é a prática política actual, também a sanidade da maioria se devia exprimir nas nossas vidas diárias sem a interferência e destruição das pessoas socialmente doentes.

O que é de lamentar é que elas não permitirão que as ajudem e não reagiriam ao tratamento se a ajuda fosse tentada.

A compreensão e a capacidade de reconhecer tais personalidades poderiam causar uma mudança importante na sociedade e nas nossas vidas.

Napoleão Bonaparte (1769–1821), líder militar francês que subiu ao poder em França através da força militar, declarou-se imperador e conduziu campanhas de conquista por toda a Europa até à sua derrota final por exércitos aliados em 1815. Meio milhão de homens morreram nas Guerras Napoleónicas (1799-1815).

Adolf Hitler (1889–1945), líder político alemão do século XX que teve o sonho de criar uma raça superior que governaria por mil anos como o terceiro Império Alemão. Tomando o poder da Alemanha pela força em 1933, como ditador, ele começou a Segunda Guerra Mundial (1939–1945), submetendo uma grande parte da Europa ao seu domínio e assassinando milhões de judeus e outros considerados «inferiores». Ele cometeu suicídio em 1945 quando a derrota da Alemanha estava eminente.

John Dillinger (1902-1934), um ínfame ladrão de bancos estado-unidense, assassíno e foragido duas vezes da prisão que foi declarado «inimigo público número um» em 1933 pelo seu papel em inúmeros assaltos a bancos e assassínios, incluindo o de um polícia, perpretado por si e os membros de um gang que ele organizara.

Charles Arthur Floyd (1904-1934), gangster estado-unidense, assaltante de bancos e assassínio, que assaltou mais de 30 bancos, assassinando pelo menos dez homens, metade dos quais eram polícias.

John Reginald Christie (1898–1953), assassino inglês. Ele foi condenado e enforcado pelo assassínio da sua esposa, mas também confessou o assassínio de outras cinco mulheres cujos corpos foram encontrados nas paredes e debaixo do soalho da sua casa.
